The all new Proteus Inshore rods are perfect for just about any inshore species. From Snook, Speckled Trout, Tarpon and Cobia in the gulf and Calico Bass on the west coast Inshore Proteus rods have all the right actions. Built with high modulus carbon graphite with Daiwa’s exclusive High Volume Fiber (SVF) low-resin design to make them strong and light weight.

Perfect for fishing kelp beds and targeting elusive calico bass, yellowtail, and white seabass, or casting big swimbaits for trophy largemouth, the Daiwa Proteus Inshore Casting Rods are built tough and able to handle big fish. Built with Daiwa’s exclusive High Volume Fiber(HVF) low-resin design and X45 carbon wrapping on the blanks, the Daiwa Proteus Inshore Casting Rods are extremely lightweight and sensitive but strong enough to handle pelagic fish, braided lines, and rough boat rides. The spiral wrapping around the grip also adds more texture and greater control for fishing in wet conditions. Outfitted with Fuji K series guides and Alconite rings, the Daiwa Proteus Inshore Casting Rods are perfect for chasing saltwater species or casting your favorite swimbaits in freshwater.
