How Do I Use These Deep Drop Fishing Rigs?

The top of each rig has a fixed loop with a stainless steel loop protector that is meant to attach to your mainline which will also allow you to clip your deep drop led light as well. We recommend to crimp / Tie a snap swivel on your mainline to attach your rig, this gives you the option to quickly switch out rigs if you get broke off or need to switch sizes.

Each hook should be baited with fresh bait, such as a piece of squid or cut bait. The fresher the bait the better. Fresh bait tends to stay on the hook much better.

The snap swivel at the bottom of the rig is for attaching your weight.

You do not need an electric fishing reel for deep drop fishing, but it certainly helps and is recommended when bringing up 2-8 pound deep drop weight multiple times a day.

Rinse your deep drop rig with fresh water after use and hang it up to dry.
